The most comfortable pillows in the world for face-down lying and seated sleep

After Retinal Surgery “Face-Down” Pillow (3-in-1 Sitting and Lying Support)

High blood pressure, diabetes, severe myopia, or excessive use of digital devices can cause retinal detachment. During eye surgery, ophthalmologists may inject gas or silicone oil into the eye to help the retina reattach and stay in place. After the operation, maintaining a face-down position for 24 hours is crucial for recovery, as the gas bubble or silicone oil helps press the retina back into position. This posture may need to be maintained for several weeks or even months, which can be very uncomfortable for patients. We hope this product can assist you through this challenging recovery period. Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health!

Unique Design with Five Key Advantages:

Super Comfort: After retinal surgery, patients typically need to lie face down for 2–3 months. This product was co-designed by patients and doctors to meet ergonomic standards, ensuring exceptional comfort during use.

Quality Assurance: The product fully meets European and American health and environmental quality standards. It is durable, reliable, and certified by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology & Inspection (BSMI), allowing users to rest assured.

Includes Silicone Face Pad: The face area is the most uncomfortable part when lying face down. This product not only fits facial contours but also comes with a soft silicone face pad that feels cool, smooth, and comfortable.

Lightweight and Portable: Patients usually stay in the hospital for 5–7 days after surgery and must continue face-down positioning for several months. Weighing only 0.6 kg, the product is compact, easy to store, and convenient to carry.

Includes Sitting Cushion: Most products on the market only provide a face-down pillow, making it difficult for patients to maintain that position all day. This product includes a sitting cushion, allowing patients to remain face-down even while seated.

Instructions for Use

When using the face-down pillow or sitting cushion, first inflate through the mouthpiece. The air valve consists of two parts: an inner cap and an outer cap. Open the inner cap first. Gently blow about a dozen times until it’s roughly 90% full, then close the inner cap. Since the inner cap is now sealed, a bit more pressure is needed to add air. Blow forcefully 4–5 more times to ensure it’s fully inflated, then close the outer cap. Inflation is now complete. Before use, place the silicone face pad on the pillow or cushion where your face will rest. When not in use, simply open the inner cap to quickly release the air for easy storage.
